I recently bought this antibiotic syrup for my 4 years old daughter. She had fever and cold for last couple of days. We have a paracetamol syrup. Whenever we feel feverish, we give it. The fever goes down after taking the medicine, but after a few hours, it comes back as soon as the effect of the medicine wears off. Then I decided to buy a antibiotic syrup, so a normal fever couldn't convert into viral fever over the time.  And I went to a nearby local doctor for antibiotics.

I bought this Omnatax - O syrup by abbott for only 50 rupees. The doctor told me to mix it well with boiled water after it has cooled down, and then give it to the child 5 ml in the morning and evening.

And it worked great for my daughter, now the fever won't return. She is fine now, But remember you have to complete the full course of any antibiotic medicine. You can't drop it in mid as it seems like the patient has been recovered. You need to give the antibiotic for minimum 3 days or as your doctor prescribed. And this syrup was needed to put into the freeze after use.

Now checkout this antibiotic syrup, I purchased this in past for my daughter which was prescribed by another doctor. There is a hospital in Rewari where my daughter Prerna was born. Since her birth, if anytime she doesn't do well health wise, we take her to that hospital quickly.

This Advent forte syrup was prescribed by the doctor of the hospital in Rewari which we supposed to buy from their pharmacy. They sell all medicine on MRP. This Advent syrup was bought by me at around 250 rupees that time. So my point is this is the first time, I didn't rush for taking my daughter to the same hospital for antibiotics, I went to a nearby local doctor and asked for a antibiotic.

The Omnatax syrup also worked well for my daughter, so this is how I saved money, time and find an another option in case I can't afford or go to that same hospital.

Important Caution

I shared my personal experience on the basis of my daughter's medicine. Please don't choose or buy any medicine by yourself, especially antibiotics, just because It worked for me or it's cheaper. Always consult a doctor before taking any medicine for yourself or your kids.
