Airtel ₹299 Plan Discontinued: Why Users are being Forced to Pay More?

Airtel ₹299 Prepaid Plan
This is a prepaid Airtel cellular plan which was discontinued as I was planning to recharge my number as today 29 August 2026. The last month, I had recharged my number with the same plan. Now it's gone from Airtel thanks app and my GPay app as well.

In this plan I was getting 1.5GB data per day for 28 days with unlimited calls. Cause I'm not such heavy internet user, so I was using this plan from last few months. Few months back, there was a another same prepaid plan which comes at ₹249 for 28 Days with having 1GB data per day with unlimited calls like the same ₹299 plan. The company similarly discontinued the ₹249 plan before as same like ₹299 and forced users to switch to ₹299 plan. Now after the few month the company discontinued the ₹299 plan and forced users to buy minimum ₹349 plan.

But there are two lowest plans having 2GB/month and 3GB/month data with unlimited calls are available at ₹199 and ₹219 respectively. The ₹199 plan is only available on airtel thanks app. Note the point, the company didn't disable those plans, they knew if they disable these plans, they would lose their non internet users. But what about the mid range less internet users, the company have disabled the both plans ₹249, and ₹299 for them, now we need to pay unnecessarily extra for the data plan which we are not going to use.

A consumer thought

Airtel has now removed the plan as similar the ₹249 plan earlier. I understand the cellular companies change their plans and pricing from time to time, but removing the middle range options leaves users with very few choices. If I don't need 2GB data per day, then why should I pay ₹349 just to keep my number active with a similar level of service?

For me, ₹249 and ₹299 plans are reasonably pricing option. The cellular company like Airtel should provide a plan for moderate data users with regular calls who don't want to pay extra for unused data.

A morning with my daughter Prerna, she's so creative to play with household items

Hello guys welcome to my another post which is going to about my morning routine with my daughter Prerna. I like slow mornings like I wake up by my own, no one needed to wake me up. I want to be up naturally. After I wake up, first thing I do is rinsing my mouth with cold water and freshen up. After that I lay down and simply scrolling or waiting to wake up my daughter by her own. I asked Neetu that no one should wake her up. She should wake up by her own. Once she woke up, I change her clothes or add them with socks, cap etc. Once she woke up, I call Neetu to bring some breakfast for me and my daughter.
