Career
Malini was a fluent dancer. She worked as a dancer in Ronica and the Planets from 1995 to 2000. She then worked as a copywriter at 1D8 Technologies Mumbai. From 2000 to 2003 she worked as a radio jockey and hosted her own radio show. She worked alongside a full-time job. She also contributed to a newspaper column and the blog MissMalini.com.
She then joined Channel V and became a digital content writer while continuing with her previous work. Malini started her MissMalini.com blog in 2008, which was initially a hobby blog. Eventually it became a gossip column, written solely by Malini. These columns were published in the morning daily Indian compact newspaper, Mumbai’s tabloid Mid Day. To make the blog more interesting and engaging, she quit her job at Channel V and focused on the blog. Miss Malini’s blog also covers Indian and international fashion trends, including lifestyle content such as travel, food and nightlife.
